Find the email, phone number and social profiles a company lists on its website
Website Contact Scraper reads each website you give it and returns one row per company with what it found. It never guesses an email address.
- Price
- US$3.00 per 1,000 websites with contacts
- Nothing found
- US$1.00 per 1,000 websites
- Free each month
- US$5 of Apify use, about 1,600 websites with contacts
- Start fee
- US$0.00005 a run
What you get
It reads up to six pages of each site unless you ask for more, starting with the home page and the contact, about and team pages.
Emails are cleaned before they reach you. Placeholder addresses, image names and the credits web designers leave in a footer are dropped, addresses hidden behind protection scripts are decoded, and each email's domain is checked for a mail server, so dead domains stay out. It does not test whether the mailbox itself exists.
Phone numbers are checked and written in international format, with the country and, in most countries, whether each one is a mobile or a landline.
domain,companyName- The website, and the company name it gives.
primaryEmail- The address you most likely want. The tool prefers the company's own domain, an address in a mail link, and a shared inbox over a personal one.
emails,emailDetails- Every address found, best first, and for each one whether it is a shared inbox or a person's, and the page it came from.
primaryPhone,phones- The main number, and every number found, in international format.
linkedin,facebook,instagram,twitter,youtube,tiktok- Links to the company's profiles, with share buttons and links to single posts removed.
address- The postal address, when the site shows one.
contactPageUrl,hasContactForm- The page most likely to be the contact page, and whether the site has a contact form.
status- Whether the site answered: ok, unreachable, blocked or parked (a placeholder page on an unused domain).
How to run it
- Open Website Contact Scraper on Apify (opens in a new tab) and choose Try for free, then sign in or create a free account.
- Under Websites, paste the sites one per line. Domains such as example.com, full links and even email addresses all work, and duplicates are merged.
- Keep Max pages per website at 6 for small businesses, or raise it to 10 or 15 for large companies, which spread their contacts over more pages.
- Emails, phone numbers and social profiles are all collected unless you turn one off. Turn on Only emails on the website's own domain to drop Gmail and other outside addresses, though many small businesses use Gmail for their main address.
- Choose Start, then Export, and download CSV, Excel or JSON.
- To refresh a list every month, save the input as a task and add it to a schedule under Schedules.
What it costs
You pay per website, and only when the scan worked: US$3.00 per 1,000 websites where something was found, and US$1.00 per 1,000 where the site answered but showed nothing. Sites that are offline, parked or blocked are free, and the price covers every page read.
So a list of 1,000 websites, if 800 of them show contact details, comes to US$2.60. The price is lower on paid Apify plans: US$2.50 per 1,000 on Scale and US$2.00 on Business.
These prices are read from the tool's Apify page every hour, and that page always shows the current ones.
Limits
- Some businesses show only a contact form, or put their email in a picture. Their rows come back without an email, and
contactPageUrland the phone numbers give you another way in. - A small share of sites build their pages in the visitor's browser, and those may come back with fewer contacts.
- Sites that turn away cloud servers come back as blocked. If many rows say blocked, turn on Apify Proxy under Advanced.
- Results can include the work email of a named person. Data protection law covers how you keep and use it, and anti-spam rules cover every email you send.
When another way is better
For a handful of companies, opening each contact page yourself is quicker.
If you do not have the websites yet, start from Google Maps. The Google Maps leads guide finds the businesses in an area and can collect their emails and social profiles in the same run.
From your own code
To add contact details to the records in your own system, send the websites in one request and choose the columns you want with fields. Use the API token from API & Integrations in Apify Console's settings. The answer is a JSON list with one object per website. The request waits up to five minutes, so use it for short lists, and start an ordinary run for a long one.
