Stratum ICS started the way a lot of companies start: one person building things for the people around them. Our founder started programming as a teenager, writing code in Pascal before most people his age had ever opened a text editor. That interest never went away.
Years later, he was still building: spreadsheets for colleagues, tools for friends, documents for anyone who asked. The people he built for kept saying the same thing: this is too good to keep to yourself. You should do this for real. So he did.
Today, Stratum ICS is a technology and professional services company. We build software tools and deliver professional services for small businesses and individuals. The principle that started this company has not changed: build things that actually work for the people using them.
About the name
Stratum means layers, foundation, the underlying structure everything else is built on. ICS stands for Integrated Core Systems. We build the foundational tools and services that people depend on every day.
