What Stratum ICS is
A practice in Georgetown, Guyana, that takes the administrative and technical problems slowing a business or a person down, and comes back with something that makes the day run smoother.
Paperwork that goes in once. Workbooks that close the month instead of eating it. Chores that run themselves. Systems built, handed over, and kept running.
We work with businesses and with individuals, here and abroad. The work runs on messages, email and a shared screen, and everything commercial is settled in writing before it starts, because you may be trusting people you have never met with something that matters.
Most of the work never appears on a website, because it belongs to the people it was built for. Two of our own products are public: Rent Receipts and Reminders, for landlords, and Counter, a point of sale for small shops.
How we work
In writing, before anything starts
The plan, the price and the date are written down first. If something is not in the document, it is not in the price, and neither is a surprise later.
Yours to keep
Files, source code and accounts are handed over in your name. Nothing is held back to keep you coming back.
Records that survive
Whatever we build keeps your records on a server, backed up, and exportable at any time. We build for the day something goes wrong.
Straight answers
If a thing is not worth doing, or someone else would do it better, we say so. You get an honest reading before you spend anything.
The name
Stratum means layers, foundation, the structure everything else sits on. ICS stands for Integrated Core Systems. Together they describe the job: the things underneath a business, the ones people use every day without thinking about them, made to hold.
